About
I'm Buffy. The Vampire Slayer. And you are...?– Buffy Summers, BtVS Episode 3.1 ("Anne")
Professional Identity
I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Georgia. My mathematical apprenticeship began half a lifetime ago as a student at the (amazing) Ross Mathematics Program.
Research Interests
My research interests are in number theory, especially when attached to the adjectives elementary, analytic, and combinatorial. My thesis, written under the supervision of Carl Pomerance, concerns the arithmetic of polynomials over finite fields. Much of my recent work focuses on the value distribution of arithmetic functions and statistical questions concerning algebraic objects.
