We have experimented image compression using our wavelets. Let us give some examples.
We found the parametrization for univariate compactly supported wavelets whose filters are length 4, 6, 8 and 10. Using the standard tensor product of these wavelets, we experiment the image compression. The following are a table of PSNR when compressing some of typical images: Lena512 , Finger Print , Marmousi , Barbara , Crowds , Boats .
